Portfolio

Since 2005, Talus Properties has been rejuvenating buildings and helping to strengthen the neighborhoods we invest in.

We have done this work all around the country. Our team has been involved in projects in Colorado, Florida, Tennessee, Ohio, and even briefly in The Dominican Republic.

We expect to acquire approximately eight more properties in the next 36 months. We welcome contact from brokers with opportunities that fit within our investment criteria. You can view our specific investment criteria here.

Latest Project - Lichter Landings

Along with our sister company Unison Real Estate Partners, LLC, we are the builder behind Lichter Landings, a 263,000 square foot aircraft hangar project at Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport (BJC). The project includes up to 180 hangars, a member's clubhouse, and over 500,000 square feet of new taxi lanes for the airport.

The Melrose at Midtown

Our award-winning renovation of this iconic Memphis landmark touched every inch of this 100,000 square feet apartment building. Built in 1959, we had the opportunity to make our work consistent with the Melrose' mid-century modern vintage architecture and interior design.

The Melrose has won the Memphis' Most award for best apartment community three years in a row. Not long after the renovations completed, The Melrose Midtown also won the coveted Diamond Achievement Award for Best Mid/High-Rise Apartment Community in Memphis on on January 17, 2020. The Melrose also was runner-up for a construction industry award for best renovation issued by a prestigious panel of architects and construction professionals known as the “Building Memphis” competition.

Tareyton Apartments

We are the manager of Tareyton Apartments, a 122,000 square foot garden apartment complex in suburban Philadelphia (Langhorne, Pennsylvania), with Class A (steel and concrete) construction.

The 112 unit complex was renovated between 2014 and 2016. Following renovation, the project is now 98% occupied.

Cherry Creek East Office Building, Denver, Colorado

This 70,000 square foot office building, acquired in 2008, had not seen renovations since the 1970s.

When we acquired the building, it was completely empty. We renovated the building, fixed the elevators, remodeled all interior spaces and invested over $1 million to bring the local landmark back to life. We also located and placed high quality tenants, including education providers, technology firms, and medical professionals. Upon completion in 2012, the building was 100% occupied.

Genesee Plaza, Golden, Colorado

A pleasantly solid building from the start, Genesee Plaza was a 1980s vintage commercial office complex that needed minor updates, custom build-outs, and interior re-design.

During the 22 months that we owned the building, improved nearly every system. The building was 45% occupied upon purchase. At project completion, it was 100% occupied.

The Law Building, St. Petersburg, Florida

Our team’s first project was the Law Building in St. Petersburg, Florida. We led the gentrification of a commercial district in North St. Petersburg by converting a former Unites States Post Office building to private commercial use. The build-out included new interior spaces, employee lounge areas, a full kitchen, and a complete upgrade of paints and finishes. Since the conversion, the project has housed a number of successful professional offices.
